It's just one mistake in Apple's bag of many successes. But those hardcore mac fans who would prefer to turn a blind eye to Apple's shortcomings are doing themselves or the future of the brand no favours. If a company isn't held accountable or criticised, how will that help them improve their service or products. In the end they get the impression they can get away with anything (sort of like Mr Howard). There’s a comment or two on Crikey which suggest users forget it and move on.
