@Alastair: “Girt” is, I agree, the best bit of our current dodgy anthem. Alas, it doesn’t quite fit the vibe of what we’ve achieved here.

I suppose as a South Australian who was actually born in Gawler, I should prefer The Song of Australia anyway.

@Corey: Thanks for that. I must admit, this new National Anthem really does rock. It helps if you sing along to the original tune, an example of which you can (naturally) find on YouTube.
