@Richard: Well, I do have a Bible, a King James version to be precise. But then I have all sorts of subversive literature. Right now I'm reading Hunter S Thompson's Better Than Sex: confessions of a political junkie. Make of that what you will. As for the parlour game, I have a theory. One sentence in 3 in spoken English can be converted into a double entendre by adding these words at the end: "said the actress to the bishop."

My first impulse was to rush off and search for other Biblical double entendres.

Then I realised I don’t have a Bible in the house. I do, however, have a book about rocket research in the Third Reich sitting on my desk as I type this.

Make of that what you will.
