		<description>I just watched my Land of the Giants dvd and the main section of the spaceport looks like the Spindrift. Very cool design. I also think the spaceport looks like a futuristic vehilce. It would have been nice if this was being built in Australia.</description>

It's the flying submarine &lt;em&gt;FS-1&lt;/em&gt; from &lt;a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Voyage_to_the_Bottom_of_the_Sea_(TV_series)"&gt;&lt;en&gt;Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea&lt;/en&gt;&lt;/a&gt;, shown here as an "artist's impression":
