What's truly amazing is the image taken from orbit which shows <a href="http://hiroc.lpl.arizona.edu/images/TRA/TRA_000873_1780/opportunity.html" rel="nofollow">_Opportunity_ sitting at the edge of the crater</a> -- and even its tracks across the sand! If this is what we can see on the Martian surface, imagine what the <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Reconnaissance_Office" rel="nofollow">National Reconnaissance Office</a> can see in _your_ back yard right now here on Earth! Richard, who couldn’t post this himself for some reason, had also noted some grand photos of Victoria Crater at http://hiroc.lpl.arizona.edu/. What’s truly amazing is the image taken from orbit which shows _Opportunity_ sitting at the edge of the crater — and even its tracks across the sand!
