<p>Are Islamic nations doomed to second-rate communications because they can&#8217;t text as fast as Christians and Jews, for whom &#8220;<code> <img src='http://stilgherrian.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':-)' class='wp-smiley' /> </code>&#8221; instead of &#8220;I&#8217;m smiling&#8221; is as natural as &#8220;etc&#8221; instead of &#8220;and the rest&#8221;?</p>
