This is the various free stuff that Stilgherrian received at the
annual Kickstart Forum on the Gold Coast 27 February to 1 March
2011. At least as far as he can remember.

AVG: Post-It notes. [They also had an anti-bug insect repellant ha
ha what a good one, but I decided not to take that. This was
possibly a mistake.]

iiNet: BoB Lite ADSL modem/router; bouncy stress ball thing; pen.

Information Builders: 5x30 binoculars.

LogMeIn: Pen.

Motorola: Notebook, the paper kind with spiral binding.

Pronto Software: Coffee mug that changes colour with temperature;
pen.

Symantec: Norton 360 version 5.0 3-license pack [I have asked for a
copy of the Mac product so I can compare it with last year's
edition]; coffee mug; mints.

Trend Micro: Confectionary.

NOTE: I didn't count USB memory sticks that contained press
information. I prefer these to dead trees, as the information on
them becomes searchable.

There was also a few other things available to be given, but I don't
pick up everything because, well, my suitcase was full. Little
trinkets like pens and mints are unlikely to influence what I write
about a company.
