That indie band is rehearsing in the house across the road again. Good. They need it.

@renailemay I am not going to defend my comments any more because they are wrong-headed and you are powerful and handsome.

via Twitter Web Client in reply to renailemay

If you can’t read Julian Morrow’s (@MoreOJ) Andrew Olle lecture http://bit.ly/QH8pQ then watch the video http://bit.ly/kA0QP

@jeamland The good thing about frameworks like Thematic is it’s easy to keep it quick/cheap now but enrich the visual design later.

via Twitter Web Client in reply to jeamland

@renailemay I agree, it’s wrong to force new things into an old model, but it’s a useful reference point. If that’s a distinction?

via Twitter Web Client in reply to renailemay

@poisontofu @kovertoperation @grantshow Ta for non-green green site suggestions . I’ll compile a list and feedback tomorrow.

via Twitter Web Client

@jeamland Yes, Thematic is a Thesis-like WordPress theme framework. I did a quick’n’dirty colour-in for the client. http://bit.ly/381fZ7

@MediaActive @julie_posetti Talkback radio is a good model for blog comments etc: presenter as conversation-host.

Dear Twitterverse, seen any websites that say “green/environmental” without obvious grass-green sky-blue colour palettes?

@GreenJ I just misread your last tweet, accidentally glossing over one of the “w”s. Very different image.

via Twitter Web Client in reply to GreenJ

Here, let me “leverage your opportunity”. Pass me a spatula.

I can’t take people seriously when they talk about conversations “around” a subject in “this space”. Sorry, but I just can’t.

Tue plan (ahem!): Write for Crikey; look at a client’s web traffic stats, be clever; lunch; afternoon writing at my desk; quiet night.

@viveka @zhasper @fictillius Yes, I’m a bit confused about investigators being given powers to break existing laws quite so easily.

via Twitter Web Client

RT @smperris: Also, there’s been a shortage of aluminium foil in Woolies lately. I haven’t been able to make nearly as many hats as usual.

via Twitter Web Client

NSW investigators find evidence laws inconvenient? Just whinge, government changes laws! http://bit.ly/1UF56V

RT @DrMobs: You may find this useful, then. (How to give a cat a pill.) http://is.gd/4Rc1H [Thankfully, I only needed step 1.]

via Twitter Web Client

No theory about the headaches, @TheLoudestVoice @smperris etc, just noticed more people than usual complaining about them.

via Twitter Web Client

@jonoabroad Well, we can soon sort that! Bring me a teenager and I’ll give him drugs. No. Wait. That sounds wrong.

via Twitter Web Client in reply to jonoabroad

Do I want to have lunch at Est tomorrow at someone else’s expense Why yes, yes I think I do.

via Twitter Web Client

Sydney People, do you seem to be suffering more than the usual number of headaches this week? There seems to be a pattern.

via Twitter Web Client

@SnarkyPlatypus Yes, Bono and Jaz-Z would have been a confluence of egos beyond all imagination. I fear the consequences.

via Twitter Web Client in reply to SnarkyPlatypus

No, Artemis. Apollo was the one who has the drugs. So why are YOU throwing up behind my chair? Political satire is my department!

via Twitter Web Client

@sleemol @airliebee Fortunately, Apollo is remarkable accepting of the inevitability of his drugs. Maybe he gets injured so he can score.

@kofeyh Good morning. Careful, it is Tuesday. Tuesdays can be most unpredictable.

@SnarkyPlatypus Heureusement, Apollon avait de la drogue tant qu’il ne voulait pas aller et venir et à l’intérieur et dehors toute la nuit.

RT @barrysaunders: Little evidence [for effects of fluoridation] either way, actually - http://bit.ly/3f4QmE

via Twitter Web Client

RT @leadegroot: No, Brisbane now has fluoridation - much to the locals disgust. [Yes, how DARE they stop tooth decay!]

via Twitter Web Client

@Nickhodge @trib Correct. Brisbane has no fluoridation, so dental caries more common. http://bit.ly/xhkZl

via Twitter Web Client in reply to NickHodgeMSFT

RT @trib: Is mine the first generation to have largely decent teeth? [Yes. Fluoride in water slowly from 1953 in Oz.] http://bit.ly/2LuuCI

@martinmiles Nope, no plastic collar on Apollo. He’s so used to Penrose draisn and stitches he doesn’t try to rip them out.

via Twitter Web Client in reply to martinmiles

@alexkidman Yes, Apollo goes outside. In and out twice a night. This is the biggest length of scar, 7 stitches I think.

via Twitter Web Client in reply to alexkidman

Apollo is 6yo. This is his 5th vet-necessary injury, the 4th requiring surgery, stitches and Penrose drain. Why am I telling you this?

via Twitter Web Client

Apparently I’ve been eating sushi the wrong way. Have you? http://bit.ly/tL81D

via Twitter Web Client

Apollo, please stop trying to jump. You’re on drugs and keep falling down. I don’t want you to rip out your drain or stitches.

@BiteTheDust I thought Julian Morrow’s lecture was truly superb. I’ll be reading it again soon. (Hi, @MoreOJ.)

@ApostrophePong The question of fur has yet to be answered. :( Tests have been done.

Apollo is fine after his surgery and I’ll collect him at 1920. And start paying off the $500. Expensive cat!
