“Some people say you shouldn’t handle fish, but I’ve never seen a fish with a skin infection.” Fuckwit.

via Cloudhopper

Who’s this tool harassing fish on Channel Nine?

via Cloudhopper

There shall be Pho.

via Cloudhopper

Seriously, people, it is time to take down your Christmas decorations.

Mobile: Off with @ApostrophePong to do a little shopping on Marrickville and Illawarra Roads, and then back.

@SnarkyPlatypus Bon. Il est toujours réconfortant de prendre contact étroit avec un citoyen fongiques.

“Let’s bring some reality to this social media game” http://bit.ly/8ytJl0 @Nickhodge you might appreciate this, and the linked article.

via Twitter Web Client

@ApostrophePong Advertised via spam? Ahem! Why are you even getting people to look at this scam?

via Twitter Web Client in reply to ApostrophePong

@SnarkyPlatypus Bonjour. Ils se cachent sous le pont, comme toujours. Ils savent ce qui va se passer. Et vous?

via Twitter Web Client in reply to SnarkyPlatypus

@ApostrophePong Either that or a scam to get credit card numbers. Where did you find the link to this site?

via Twitter Web Client in reply to ApostrophePong

@ApostrophePong Also, the domain name does not match the shop name, and registered in China. They’re bootlegs.

via Twitter Web Client in reply to ApostrophePong

@ApostrophePong T&Cs say “You have no possibility to register the software with the producer” http://bit.ly/7rPyTi Also no support. Weird.

via Twitter Web Client in reply to ApostrophePong

@ApostrophePong That store LOOKS legit, but that price for Adobe CS4 seems unrealistically low, even as download-only. http://bit.ly/7Rmr3y

via Twitter Web Client in reply to ApostrophePong

RT @johnhalton: Task gets much easier if you just list those which weren’t “tablets”. [Perhaps true, tho don’t we call them “slates” now?]

via Twitter Web Client

Has anyone done a straightforward list of ALL the new products announced at CES Las Vegas? I’m guessing it’s too big for that?

via Twitter Web Client

@salmonmoose Erm, “cataloging songs” isn’t remotely near what I’m doing. :) I hardly even listen to music, let alone want to catalog it.

via Twitter Web Client in reply to salmonmoose

@thornae I didn’t know all of that Audion story, so thanks! http://bit.ly/2WRXBE

Hah! “ID3 Editor reaches the parts that iTunes CAN NOT reach.” http://bit.ly/Pstat Ta, @queenvictoria, USD 15 is almost free anyway!

via Twitter Web Client

@queenvictoria Ta for that tip, though I think I tracked the problem down to an old version of libmp3lame.dylib, probably.

via Twitter Web Client in reply to queenvictoria

@NineSortJam The name Jim Schembri means nothing to me, so I just read the words. Seemed a fair call, though I haven’t seen “Avatar”.

via Twitter Web Client in reply to m_jns

“Avatar joins era of post-content film”, a “distress beacon” for dire art of big-movie narrative. http://bit.ly/7VX7iX HT @andrewdotnich

What a shame there isn’t an OS X version of Stamp ID3 Tag Editor. http://bit.ly/7eaaEJ

via Twitter Web Client

@andrewdotnich You’ll be using Reaper more for music? Note: I haven’t touched any MIDI functions at all, and won’t be.

via Twitter Web Client in reply to andrewdotnich

@b3rn I found a later compile of libmp3lame.dylib which seems to have fixed things, but yes I’ll switch from VBR to CBR as well.

via Twitter Web Client in reply to b3rn

@andrewdotnich I should flag that I’m used to ProTools and audio mixing desks in general so the learning curve wasn’t too steep. YMMV.

via Twitter Web Client in reply to andrewdotnich

@ragnarok1971 Yeah I’m wondering if people were turned off by that 2+ hour apparent duration instead of 20 mins. Sigh.

via Twitter Web Client in reply to ragnarok1971

@andrewdotnich Used Reaper for some weeks, very happy. And the OS X version is still beta. MP3 metadata only glitch, probably LAME’s fault.

via Twitter Web Client in reply to andrewdotnich

Experimenting with Reaper and LAME Encoder to figure out why my podcasts ID as 8x duration at 1/8th the sample rate.

I think I’d better go to bed now, you people are telling me things I shouldn’t know. And some of you are lesbians, which makes it worse.

via Twitter Web Client

It’s rather amusing how many “straight” men just explained Grindr to me.

via Cloudhopper

Oh great, they’ve gone to have sex in the toilets. Is there an app for that?

via Cloudhopper

If, that is, it’s appropriate to use “boy” for someone in their 40s.

via Cloudhopper

Oh how sweet, the stereotypical gay boys are bonding by showing each other their iPhone apps. Primp, they go.

via Cloudhopper

How dare you! Yazoo is ALWAYS fashionable!

via Cloudhopper

Al Green is as important as Donna Summer. Discuss.

via Cloudhopper

Exhausted by baby geese? WTF?

via Cloudhopper

OH: “I mean, I’ve got friends from school, but I don’t really make friends.”

via Cloudhopper

OH: “I didn’t understand male heirarchy. I mean, I’m big, I’m smart and I can drink a lot.”

via Cloudhopper

OH: “Don’t, because I’ll need to pump you. And not in a good way.”

via Cloudhopper

OH: “War, morality and habit are the only normative systems the world has ever known.”

via Cloudhopper

OH: “I won’t object. As you know, I’m all for jugs.”

Mobile (again): Enmore Rd; King St; gym; rafraîchissements. Attention relatively depleted, like the wattlebird of discouragement.

via Twitter Web Client

I should’ve bought the bags. It would’ve brought a moment of joy in an otherwise bleak world.

via Twitter Web Client

I resisted buying the High School Musical personalisable sandwich bags at just 99c a box. Self-control FTW.
