Radio silence time. See you on the other side of the Pacific.

Can’t spend a few hours on a plane without having your own individual screen-based seeped? God you people are losers.

via TweetDeck

Do that again.

via TweetDeck

Excellent, my seat is directly on top of the flap motors, by the feel of that slightly pleasant vibration.

via TweetDeck

Again, thank you for all the good wishes. But I think an RPT flight to SFO should be smooth enough. @ApostrophePong has the drop-dead file.

via TweetDeck

@NewtonMark That is seriously not reassuring, Mark.

via TweetDeck in reply to NewtonMark

Good God, @theburgerman, I know when to demand drinks! Mind you, on Alaskan they fed me whiskey because I swapped seats.

via TweetDeck

I have just been nice and swapped my seat so the vegetarian lesbians could sit together.

via TweetDeck

This flight is full of proles. American proles.

I’m not a coffee nazi, @derekbradley. Far from it. Caffeine is a cheap addictive alkaloid stimulant. If it’s needed, I’ll consume it.

via TweetDeck

I’m flying cattle class on United UA870, @dippysan, but on Salesforce.com’s tab so obviously it’s wonderful in every possible way.

via TweetDeck

At least I’ll be able to Tweet via SMS, as I have just demonstrated successfully to myself. And yes, I shall pass on any info received.

via TweetDeck

Moar wine required.

@louellenroberts It’s not the phone calls I’m concerned about, it’s the data. I typically use 200 to 250MB/day when I’m out and about.

via TweetDeck in reply to louellenroberts

The PA announcements are indescribably nasal.

via Cloudhopper

I think my strategy will be to buy a SIM at SFO. I am confident that by the time I land there a minion will have recommended a solution.

via TweetDeck

Gawd, Telstra’s international mobile roaming data packs: $29 for 10MB of data, or $160 for 60MB. What a scam!

via TweetDeck

Now if I recall correctly one can purchase an acceptable bloody mary just over here by that big window…

via TweetDeck

Through the Secure Zone, in some sort of endless booze shop.

via TweetDeck

Checked in. Entering the Secure Zone..

via TweetDeck

RI is decidedly inadequate.

via TweetDeck

Thanks for the good wishes, folks, but it’s still a while before I see an aircraft. UA870 boards at 1540 AEDT for a 1625 departure.

via TweetDeck

I’m in a queue.

via TweetDeck

I’m in a cab.

via TweetDeck

Summoning an autocab.

via TweetDeck

Waiting for batteries to charge.

@life42 I have no further information about the sausage sizzle, sorry. I was just walking past.

via TweetDeck in reply to life42

The sausage sizzle now has a band playing. At 11am on a Monday.

via TweetDeck

There’s a sausage sizzle in Newtown Square.

Black hoodie drawn tight. / Tattoos, pale skin, no sun seen. / See him? Dealer!

The Victoriana window signage on the old Razor’s Edge, Enmore Rd, indicates that it will soon be a cafe called Pickwick’s. It has a dodo.

via TweetDeck

Mobile: Enmore Rd errands; King St errands; back down Enmore Rd to home.

via TweetDeck

@ExtraHermit No, the order would have to be write then pack, due to production timelines.

via TweetDeck

Pondering whether I can write a quick article before putting on my pants and packing my suitcase and stuff.

via TweetDeck

I don’t believe I actually went to the bother of fact-checking who Margaret Fulton wrote for before tweeting that.

via TweetDeck

In calling Margaret Fulton an arsehat, am I right in thinking that “Women’s Day” has indeed disbanded their death squads?

via TweetDeck

Margaret Fulton, “chef” and anti-intellectual arsehat. http://arseh.at/2h5

via TweetDeck

Yep, @delperr0, Bill Clinton is doing a keynote, an intimate chat with an audience of 14,500, and Stevie Wonder is performing. I’ve NFI why.

via TweetDeck

Mon plan: Get everything organised before my 1625 flight to San Francisco for Salesforce.com’s “Dreamforce 10” event. http://arseh.at/1av

via TweetDeck

Well yes, @SnarkyPlatypus @Mrgareth, obviously if the surprise involves Bill Clinton and whipped cream it’s a different story entirely.

via TweetDeck

Um @Mrgareth is “… looking forward to seeing @stilgherrian at .. we’ve a special surprise for him”? Oh dear. I hate surprises.

via TweetDeck

“Patch Monday” podcast filed! Working title: “WikiLeaks: the survival lessons”. It should be on @zdnetaustralia before lunchtime.

via TweetDeck

Of course. If there was going to be such a thing as fullboar.org it just had to be in Far North Queensland. http://fullboar.org/

via TweetDeck

@SnarkyPlatypus Les tribus se rassemblent. Certains soutenir «le nouveau Che Guevara». Certains n’en ont pas. Le règne superficialité.

via TweetDeck in reply to SnarkyPlatypus

“Full boar”?

via TweetDeck

@SnarkyPlatypus Bonjour. Vous êtes susceptible de devenir en colère contre beaucoup de choses que vous lisez aujourd’hui. Et vous?

via TweetDeck in reply to SnarkyPlatypus

“Did Julian Assange Blow off a Key Question About Wikileaks?” asked @jayrosen_nyu, and now he’s getting bulk comments. http://arseh.at/2gh

via TweetDeck

Let’s see if I can get 4 or 5 hours sleep before the next installment in life’s rich pageant. [Gone.]

via TweetDeck

I won’t file the podcast just yet, though. Who knows what WikiLeaks news might emerge in the next eight hours?

via TweetDeck

“Patch Monday” podcast is all but complete. WikiLeaks chat with @NewtonMark @crispin_harris @jeamland. Online lunchtime Monday, Sydney time.

via TweetDeck

Rough cut of the main panel discussion for “Patch Monday” complete. Checking mix now. Quite pleased.
