My somewhat-carefully arranged schedule for this week has turned to custard. Lumpy custard, with a disturbing odour.
Me: “Can you make it by 6pm? The address is X.” Punter: “Sure, I can make it by 6. What’s the address?” AAAAARRRRRGGGHHHHHHH!!!1!!
FFS why is it so hard for people to say, yes, they will be at X at time T, or no they cannot?

The truck departs. Load time 2.5 hours. The bulk of my possessions are on their way to the warehouse. And I am sweating profusely.

All this won’t fit in the truck. My memory / documentation from 5+ years ago is faulty. Also, there is too much stuff to give / throw away.
Just like 5 years ago, the guys from Citymove are exactly on time, friendly, efficient and, in one case, easy on the eye in a European way.
