New podcast: “The 9pm Get Some Goddam Perspective”, (re-)introducing Crusader Rabbit. stilgherrian.com/edict/00029/

via Janetter for Mac

@awrd @zephoria @katecrawford Thanks very much. There’s been a huge response, at least as far as I can see from Twitter. That surprises me.

via Janetter for Mac in reply to awrd

Right, the recoding and edit is done. Now to the final (semi-automated) mix, compress, package, upload etc. This takes about an hour.

RT @SnarkyPlatypus: @stilgherrian Scope creep is the bane of all projects. [So very true. I should know better.]

@bengrubb As I’ve said many times before, dull literalism will be the death of our species.

via Janetter for Mac in reply to bengrubb

@chrisjrn Yes, that’s what I’m thinking.

via Janetter for Mac in reply to chrisjrn

I’ve worked out why “The 9pm Edict” takes so long to produce. 1. I start planning too early, things change, must re-plan. 2. Scope creep.

via Janetter for Mac

The podcast production goes OK, but it always seem to take longer than I think. Nevertheless, there’ll be a new “The 9pm Edict” tonight.

via Janetter for Mac

@jameslyne @gcluley What you say is true. I suspect it’s the same thing that fuels the podcasts I produce.

via Janetter for Mac in reply to jameslyne

@jkerrison But I agree, it’s been too long. I shall be in touch.

via Janetter for Mac in reply to jkerrison

@jkerrison Oh I already know I won’t be there tomorrow. I only have time to pop in for the panel I’m doing on Wednesday morning.

via Janetter for Mac in reply to jkerrison

@jkerrison I shan’t be there, I’m afraid, I’m recording a podcast tonight.

via Janetter for Mac in reply to jkerrison

@paulkidd @SnarkyPlatypus Ah, it’s a shame you stopped it then. That would have been lovely to behold.

via Janetter for Mac in reply to paulkidd

@paulkidd @SnarkyPlatypus Thank you, but I haven’t actually reviewed the ciders in the podcast.

via Janetter for Mac in reply to paulkidd

RT @BundyB: @stilgherrian I trust there is a step 1.1 in there: drink cider [I stand corrected. Yes. Also, related steps 1.2, 1.3 etc.]

via Janetter for Mac in reply to BundyB

Next steps: 1. Open a cider. 2. Start recording. 3. Try not to sulk too much.

via Janetter for Mac

I’ve just posted an update to the all-too-neglected “The 9pm Operation Budget Repair”. skank.com.au/news/subscribe… New episode late tonight.
