@expectproblems No, the tactic is to record those sounds, and then a few days later play them back at them very loud.

Back at @bunjaree, where the sky is on the edge of drizzle.

MinTimUppal So I’m at a grocery store and a guy looks at me then turns to his wife and says “oh ya we need naan bread”. I’m always happy to help.

@MinhKular @kcarruthers It’s the physical signs of an economy slowing down, presumably.

Oh. That was just Seven Hills. Blacktown is still a couple kilometres away

via Plume for Android

There’s rather a lot of offices and warehouses for lease at Seven Hills and Blacktown that look like they’ve been empty quite a while.

@michaelneale @corduroy Indeed. Our lives would be empty without it.

via Janetter for Mac in reply to michaelneale

@michaelneale @corduroy Perhaps, but “noise shops” tend to be set up by people with plenty of cash. [Shrugs.]

via Janetter for Mac in reply to michaelneale

@michaelneale @corduroy Without address certain of your comments, I suspect the answer the shop’s hours is “lifestyle business”.

@kcarruthers @zdnetaustralia Thank you. Every now and then I do get it right.

@scottcarson1957 No problems. Teen years wasted on WWII gaming has occasional benefits.

via Janetter for Mac in reply to scottcarson1957

@scottcarson1957 I also mistakenly called it an Me-110. Correct designation is Messerschmidt Bf-110. Must get German nomenclature correct.

via Janetter for Mac in reply to scottcarson1957

@scottcarson1957 So I’m guessing your photo is an abandoned one in northern Europe somewhere. Belgium, Holland, north Germany.

via Janetter for Mac in reply to scottcarson1957

@scottcarson1957 The smaller one in the middle is the transmitters, and the four big antennas are the receiver. Air intercept radar.

via Janetter for Mac in reply to scottcarson1957

@scottcarson1957 Yep, though most of it is missing.. Here’s the full kit on a different model Me-110. pic.twitter.com/2rYHYOSqNa

via Janetter for Mac in reply to scottcarson1957

@scottcarson1957 I agree with the commenter that that’s a Lichtenstein radar set. I couldn’t tell what exhaust flame dampeners look like.

via Janetter for Mac in reply to scottcarson1957

@scottcarson1957 Looks like a Messerschmidt 110 night fighter a little bit overdue for routine servicing.

via Janetter for Mac in reply to scottcarson1957

@catfitz @zdnetaustralia I guess you already know all about me and already have assigned to the appropriate category boxes. Bye.

via Janetter for Mac in reply to catfitz

@catfitz @zdnetaustralia Yeah, you’ve pretty much missed the point, which was about not calling things a war when they’re not a war.

via Janetter for Mac in reply to catfitz

@kim_weatherall Yeah there’s a glorious bit of public administration right there, eh?

Fri plan, draft: Lazy breakfast; a lazy day containing more food and, i suspect, a drink; bus then train to Wentworth Falls; quiet evening.
