I have the memory card, and I’m now strolling to the Australian Arms.

@kcarruthers Thanks. No live stream this time. That may well come in future episodes. I’m adding complexity in manageable stages.

There has been talk of hashtags for today. should do the trick.

Also, we’re a few minutes late leaving Springwood because one of the connecting buses is late.

I’ll be arriving at the Australian Arms slightly after midday, alas, as I have to grab a memory card on the way.

@pelagikat Gosh. And yet it couldn’t handle “Fong”. Weird.

I think the new definition of “hack” is “do something with a computer that a newspaper editor doesn’t understand”.!

via Plume for Android

@moylecroft Oh God, that is so going to happen, isn’t it.

I have hacked my phone to call a taxi.

I’m not sure that this Vodafone / call records story should be reported as a “hack” though. It reads as if it’s just a database lookup.

@franksting It’s a family pub, but yes, that does make a long journey a bit annoying. Have a good one.

via TweetDeck in reply to franksting

@franksting You too, eh? They have been busy. Many thanks.

@jturner_ibrs I’m quoting you in the intro now.

@dchwgtn1 Don’t be daft. That’s like saying what’s the point of mentioning a book that you have to buy. The point is that’s the source.

@carolduncan @R_Chirgwin Cubase would do the job. I was using ProTools for a while, so Reaper was a good software-only move after that.

Right. Time to pack up all this stuff, have a shower and shave, and catch the rail bus to Springwood and the train to Penrith.

@carolduncan @R_Chirgwin Oh, and I use Reaper as my digital audio workstation (DAW), which is complete overkill. reaper.fm

Yes, the Zoom H6 comes up in Reaper as a 6-channel input device, which means that everything will work as planned.

@carolduncan @R_Chirgwin I’ll take some pics when I’m set up on-site, but here’s a rough overview. pic.twitter.com/XEOsuQQpoE

@R_Chirgwin You will be thrilled to hear that the H6 already has the latest firmware installed, mum.
