“Tony Ate… at Eight” is a tribute to Abbott’s love of things in his mouth. 0800 AEDT, repeated 2000 AEDT, while the life force lasts.

@GenKnoxx @0x1C I am quite traditional in many ways.

via TweetDeck in reply to GenKnoxx

@0x1C @GenKnoxx … but sometimes I like doing things in groupspic.twitter.com/BKppgW9iCWCW

via OS X

@0x1C @GenKnoxx Well this is my standard configuration for solo podcast recording..pic.twitter.com/rdKfEURgirir

via OS X

@0x1C Ah, yeah, no phantom power on the H2n, so that’d be a show-stopper in your configuration.

via TweetDeck in reply to 0x1C

@0x1C That makes sense. I was going to suggest he H2n. More mic patterns built in, but only 3.5mm Mic/Line In. zoom.co.jp/products/handy…

via TweetDeck in reply to 0x1C

@0x1C Yeah, other musicians have told me about the shit FX pedals, but things have changed. I’ve used H1 and H4n, but now have an H6.

via TweetDeck in reply to 0x1C

@0x1C All of the recorders can record at up to 96kHz 24-bit per channel. The H2n is probably the go for you.

via TweetDeck in reply to 0x1C

@0x1C Look no further than Zoom, a Japanese company of much excellence. Go to zoom.co.jp and click on “Field Recording”.

via TweetDeck in reply to 0x1C

@0x1C I’ve been meaning to start collecting ambient sounds, and when I found myself sitting under that din in the (Not-)Quiet Carriage…

via TweetDeck in reply to 0x1C

Hey @0x1C, would you like the ambient noise of a broken train air conditioner? Yes, I think you would. stilgherrian.com/wp-content/upl…

@scottcarson1957 @jonoabroad You beat me to it. I was going to point to our traditional polystyrene mines.

via TweetDeck in reply to scottcarson1957

@jonoabroad Ah, no, you’ve missed the point.

via TweetDeck in reply to jonoabroad

So Australia has brass mines, and steel mines, in our special snowflake minerals sector. Suck on that, Indonesia! twitter.com/DubesAustralia…

@MargotSaville You’ll need a strong stomach as well as gelatine to follow @70s_party.

@mattdasilva @JennaPrice No problems. Searching for the exact text of the error message nearly always gets you straight to a fix.

via TweetDeck in reply to mattdasilva

@mattdasilva @JennaPrice All I did was type the complete error message into Google. The first two results were working procedures for a fix.

via TweetDeck in reply to mattdasilva

@JennaPrice @mattdasilva Here you go. Use Solution 2. Ignore the bits about SyncServicesAgent. msonlinehelpdesk.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/artic…

via TweetDeck in reply to JennaPrice

@JennaPrice @mattdasilva Actually, you don’t need to know what it is, only what to do about it. Stand by.

@manaz_d Yes, but that was more a 9/11-style thing into the Senate.

@ApostrophePong @cefiar Stock photos also tend to be very… stock.

via TweetDeck in reply to ApostrophePong

@cefiar @ApostrophePong I jest, of course. @WorldBank has come a long way since the Lizard People built hydroelectric schemes.

via TweetDeck in reply to cefiar

@cefiar @ApostrophePong I think it behooves the Lizard People of the @WorldBank to credit stuff if they can’t pay for it. ;)

via TweetDeck in reply to cefiar

So @WorldBank’s video “Future of Food: Think Beyond Your Own Plate” by @ApostrophePong has some of my photos in it. youtube.com/watch?v=tZfSJp…

@JoshuaWithers Yes, I think @kanyewest should be the default solution to all problems.

via Twitter Web Client in reply to JoshuaWithers

@JoshuaWithers That would be the sensible approach, yes. Calendar.app is a piece of shit.

via TweetDeck in reply to JoshuaWithers

Just look at those mdworker processes go!

via TweetDeck

Oh good*, Calendar.app has has buggerated its data files and search doesn’t work. Now it’s reindexing. Sigh.

Sun plan, draft: Deal with organisational loose ends; plan the next fortnight; Weekly Wrap; all padded with considerable sloth.

Sunday. Everything will be three times as painful, and They will make you pay three times the price for it. So that’s nine. Sunday.
