The final podcast is also going to be about 90 minutes long. Each segment was longer than the previous one.

@ResignInShame There are some disturbing interactions between @FionaPattenMLC and me.

via TweetDeck in reply to ResignInShame

We managed to speak about both euthanasia and teledildonics, for example.

I’m doing a rough mix of The 9pm Edict Public House Forum 4, and it’s quite silly in parts. The podcast will be online on Monday or Tuesday.

@NathanaelB @stripe We discussed all that earlier. And yes, basically.

@JimRHoughton The clever people at @TheRegister have a handy converter.

via TweetDeck in reply to JimRHoughton

Good God, @TheRegister ran an item on my rhino-on-skateboard tweet. theregister.co.uk/2016/10/25/oz_… “Respected journo”, they said I am. Heh.

Covering myself in cheese, by mistake.

via TweetDeck

@Steve_Lockstep Yep. I really only need to be there for the one-day event, but the two extra days mean I can talk to Certain People.

via TweetDeck in reply to Steve_Lockstep

@Steve_Lockstep Well there’s a thought. We could solve most of the world’s problems.

via TweetDeck in reply to Steve_Lockstep

@Steve_Lockstep There’s three services each way per day. I’m taking the 0704 down, arriving 1122, and then back on the 1725 arriving 2137.

via TweetDeck in reply to Steve_Lockstep

@Steve_Lockstep Only in the sense that it takes four hours.

@phonakins @JustJimWillDo Did you partake of the Cuddle’n’Bubbles package?

via TweetDeck in reply to phonakins

I think I might catch the train again. That was quite a pleasant journey.

via TweetDeck in reply to stilgherrian

Needless to say, I am not choosing the Capital Executive Apartment Hotel for my Canberra trip.

via TweetDeck in reply to stilgherrian

@JustJimWillDo That, or a portal to another planet.

via TweetDeck in reply to JustJimWillDo

@SnarkyPlatypus There’s not too many of those old places left in Canberra. All the cheap-arse accommodation is in… Queanbeyan.

via TweetDeck in reply to SnarkyPlatypus

@JustJimWillDo Yes! And they have a Cuddle’n’Bubble package! (I have stayed here once. It’s terrible.) pic.twitter.com/9i5ZCtX8w6

via TweetDeck in reply to JustJimWillDo

Amused that the “Capital Executive Apartment Hotel” in Canberra offers… dial-up internet! And there’s a surcharge for it!

via TweetDeck

@developerjack Indeed, though @stripe has managed to get all this magic working, and has a better interface than any bank I’ve ever used.

via TweetDeck in reply to developerjack

@outsh1ned @stripe Actually the punter may not have entered the wrong date, just didn’t update the new date when they got a new card.

via TweetDeck in reply to outsh1ned

@techoglot I have no idea. Vages are not my strong point.

Meanwhile, I’ve been sent a photo of some rather alarming Thai friendship bracelets. pic.twitter.com/hHsaziuzQt

via TweetDeck

@developerjack As I have just discovered, yes. Some sites kill payments if the expiry is wrong, but @stripe keeps ‘em going because magic.

via TweetDeck in reply to developerjack

@noreasonspec @stripe Yeah I keep forgetting that card authorisations are a risk-management thing. Confused the hell out of a punter though.

via TweetDeck in reply to noreasonspec

Aha! @stripe connects directly with card networks to update card expiry dates automagically. stripe.com/blog/smarter-s…

via TweetDeck in reply to stilgherrian

This is odd. Someone entered their Visa card into @stripe with the wrong expiry date, one in the past, yet payments are still processed.

@acidic @ABCNews24 @JohnBarronUSA Needless to say, I have no desire to watch that.

“Unprecedented cyber attack takes Liberia’s entire internet down”, so basically a shipping register and corruption. telegraph.co.uk/technology/201…

via TweetDeck

Good God, @ABCNews24 has “USA Votes” on Wednesday from 1000 to 1730 AEDT. I bet this is @JohnBarronUSA’s fault.

via TweetDeck

@AbstractCode Maybe you could link it to the Melbourne Cup.

via TweetDeck in reply to AbstractCode

@JustJimWillDo I blame @R_Chirgwin’s sons for encouraging the possums with stale bread.

via TweetDeck in reply to JustJimWillDo

Sat plan, draft: De-possuming; sort out podcast post-production from Melbourne trip; watch the TV programs I must watch; schedule next week.

via TweetDeck in reply to stilgherrian

It would appear that I left the back window open last night. As a result, a possum has helped tidy* the kitchen.

via TweetDeck

Saturday. It’s not my fault. It’s probably your fault. Saturday.
