Weekly Wrap 822: Unexpectedly Bankstown, and now March

We’re looking out a window. At least two-thirds of the view is of a brick wall painted cream, heavily cracked. Rising up in the middle of the image is the shiny steel chimney of a restaurant kitchen extractor fan. Above the roofline of this wall are several air conditioning units on the roof of the next building and, in the far distance, trees and the upper parts of buildings. The sky is grey and cloudy.

My week of Monday 23 February to Sunday 1 March 2026 was disrupted by an unexpected need to be somewhere other than the Blue Mountains. I chose Sydney, and specifically Bankstown. All that went well, and I got a lot of planning done, but there’s little new to show you — except a successful first stage of the crowdfunder.
