Stilgherrian Live is (or perhaps “was”) my sojourn into live Internet broadcasting which includes talkback-style audience input on some Thursday nights at 9.30pm Sydney time.

“This is what broadband was invented for.”

The program is currently “taking break” until I can regain the enthusiasm which led me to start the experiment.

If there’s nothing happening here, you can always check out Stilgherrian Live Alpha, the technical tests which began with episode 1 on Thursday 8 May 2008. It was a technical disaster — but I suppose that was the point.

Then you can try episode 3 and episode 4, episode 5, episode 6, episode 7 and the extended episode 8. Episode 2 was not recorded.

There were also impromptu episodes 5.1 from “Irish” pub Kelly’s On King on 21 June (part 1, part 2) and 5.2 from Canberra on 24 June (part 1, part 2).

During the latter part of 2008 we had the “Delta” series, with Episodes 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34 and 35.

There was also a special Christmas edition, but only the first 70 minutes was recorded. It featured His Benevolence Stilgherrian’s Christmas Message.

2009 kicked off with episode 37 on 12 February, then episode 39, 40, 41, 42, 43, 44, 45, 46, 47, 48, 49, 50, 52 and 53.

Episode 51 was an afternoon special, co-produced with Metro Screen, which has not yet been put online.
