I’m extracting an entire household’s worth of stuff from storage, where it’s been for 15 years. It’s a combination of a time capsule and a garage sale! Here’s how you can get your hands on it all.

What’s on offer
- Books: There’s more than 400 titles across many genres. This spreadsheet has many inconsistencies in how titles and authors’ names are presented, so you may prefer to browse the covers on LibraryThing — although that database doesn’t show the condition of the books, nor whether they’re still available. People are staking their claims.
- DVDs: Some 28 mixed titles.
- CDs: Some 25 titles.
- Vinyl: There’s more than 70 records.
How to buy them
The quickest way is to email me an offer for anything that catches your eye. Or tell me what you’re interested in and I’ll suggest a price. Either way, I’ll mark the items as RESERVED and we’ll take it from there. You have until Sunday 28 July to do that.
After that I’ll be posting some of the better items on Gumtree or wherever, and the rest will be offered in bulk to appropriate resellers. And what isn’t of interest after that will go into the recycling skip.
Items can be collected from Campsie in Sydney, or I can post them anywhere in Australia.
Notes
- Condition of books: I’ve started noting the condition of the books using the industry-standard list of used book conditions, but only as people have expressed interest. If you see an F added, it means the book suffers from foxing.
