Word-whore. I write 'em. I talk 'em. Information, politics, media, and the cybers. I drink. I use bad words. All publication is a political act. All communication is propaganda. All art is pornography. All business is personal. All hail Eris! Vive les poissons rouges sauvages!

One of Sydney's new light rail vehicles for the South-East Light Rail line under test on George Street in Haymarket

As is often the case after a burst of travel, my week of Monday 16 to Sunday 22 September 2019 was relatively quiet. Still, I wrote a piece that I’m really happy with.

Weekly Wrap 485: Cybers in Chiang Mai, and such

A traffic light at the corner of Thanon Ratmakka and Soi Sam Lan in Chiang Mai's Old City, with a passing Songthaew, the red passenger trucks that form the core of the city's public transport.

My week of Monday 9 to Sunday 15 September 2019 was spent in Chiang Mai, mostly covering the APNIC 48 conference, but also spending some of my own time looking around the city. I like it.
