Crikey has just published my article ABC Playback is a backwards step as a “Crikey essay”, no less. It combines the themes of my pieces about ABC Playback and the CBC BitTorrent trial.

There’s oen correction to the Crikey essay: Only the NRK’s BitTorrent trial was HD TV. The CBC’s was standard definition only as the program itself was only shot in SD. The CBC’s Guinevere Orvis has fingers crossed for HD next year.
