Word-whore. I write 'em. I talk 'em. Information, politics, media, and the cybers. I drink. I use bad words. All publication is a political act. All communication is propaganda. All art is pornography. All business is personal. All hail Eris! Vive les poissons rouges sauvages!

aww, shucks!
My pleasure, Zhasper. T’was a wonderful analysis of the piece. Now you can turn your attention to the spin that’ll follow today’s announcement of a wireless broadband plan for the bush! 😉
I’d rather not comment on that too much – I don’t know the details, and being that one of the major players is (for the next 4 days) my employer….
Besides, who wants to discuss important policy points when you can make fun of our parliamentary leaders?
I think it’s appalling that corporations think they own people’s minds — and that employees go along with it.
Yes, Zhasper, you may be employed by [insert name of Australia’s 2nd largest telco here, shhhh!], but why should that cripple your democratic right to engage in debate about public policy? Particularly when, as a “cog in the machine”, you’re probably not privy to The Big Policy Secrets anyway?
