@vealmince Agree re Symantec’s “denial mode”. I dropped Norton AntiVirus approx 2yr ago when support calls skyrocketed. Memory hog, too.

@franksting The HDD will be a local task, i.e. plug into server, staff member runs backup job, rotates discs whenever.

@bigmac Oh I mean disc imaging. Each computer will have some hours of custom config, so I want to keep disc images for disaster recover.

(I have found Norton Save & Restore “acceptable” for imaging workstations, some swear by Acronis True Image.)
