My week of Monday 21 to Sunday 27 November 2022 saw me get a bunch of things done, most of which I can’t talk about. But hey we all enjoyed the Twitter dramas, and I refined my decision about The 8pm Quiz.
Yes, The 8pm Quiz, the livestreamed video quiz show which hasn’t been seen since the beginning of the year. Last week I pencilled in a few episodes across the holiday season, but I thought I’d better double-check that I’d chosen good dates.
Please let me know your preferred dates for what will now be FOUR episodes by 8pm AEDT this Thursday 1 December. I’ll announce my decision almost immediate after that deadline.
I’ve also started to use Mastodon. You can find me at eigenmagic.net/@stilgherrian or by searching on the platform for @stilgherrian@eigenmagic.net, although right now it’s only a few essential bits and pieces.
If you follow me on Twitter and you’d like to stay in touch if I move somewhere else, please leave me your email address at stilgherrian.com/twitterrecovery. I won’t use your address for anything else.

The Week Ahead
Parliament is sitting again this week, Monday to Thursday, with the Senate also sitting on Friday. Just like last week, I probably be doing any journalism. I’m mainly focusing on my consulting clients.
Thursday will contain a day trip to Sydney for a variety of reasons. However I’ve had to cancel going to the Annual Industry Boat Cruise on Thursday and the Watterson Christmas Party on Friday. I’ve got too many other things to do.
The final special guest episode of The 9pm Edict spring series is running late and won’t quite sneak under the wire before the end of November. I know you won’t mind. I’ll probably do a small solo episode this week, though, just to get some things off my chest,
The 9pm Edict is supported by the generosity of its listeners. You can throw a few coins into the tip jar or subscribe for special benefits. Please consider.
