Chinese telco equipment manufacturer Huawei continues to be banned from Australia’s 5G rollout. I spoke about that a short time ago on ABC Adelaide, along with a representative of Huawei Australia.
The Huawei ban has been in the news this week. Only today, we heard that Huawei is pleading with the federal government to allow it to be a 5G provider in Australia.
Meanwhile in the US, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has threatened to cut off carriers using company’s gear. The story linked to includes an excellent timeline of this saga.
