I’m exhausted. I’ve just finished dealing with some major systems crises, and at the end of it I’m left with broken formatting on this website. Some of the text looks funny. Oh well it can wait… I’ll tell you all about it tomorrow.

I haven’t had the energy to look at this formatting thing, but I’ll post a comment about it just in case the Magic WordPress Fairy notices it and tells me the answer…
I’d been running WordPress 2.1.x (latest version) and the TextControl plug-in to do the text formatting. I upgraded to WP 2.2 and for various reasons there were problems, so I rolled back to my backup. In theory everything should have reverted to the way it was.
But…
In between I also upgraded PHP to version 4.4.7, and may or may not have compiled in all the modules that were there before. So now when I activate the TextControl plug-in, it breaks.
I’m guessing the answer is something really, really obvious — which I can’t see for the trees, so to speak.
I still care very little about this bloody formatting. 🙂 I’ll post a few things and potter around before worrying about it.
