Stilgherrian

Word-whore. I write 'em. I talk 'em. Information, politics, media, and the cybers. I drink. I use bad words. All publication is a political act. All communication is propaganda. All art is pornography. All business is personal. All hail Eris! Vive les poissons rouges sauvages!

Weekly Wrap 574: Jabbed, but not very productive

Stilgherrian getting the COVID-19 vaccine

Weekly Wrap 573: Wattlebirds, a podcast and a livestream, and even more introspection

Banksia at Bunjaree

My week of Monday 17 to Sunday 23 May 2021 was strange and transitional. There;’s a fantastic podcast again, and another episode of The 8pm Quiz, but on Sunday night I lost myself in a live performance that reminded me of so many parts of my past.

Weekly Wrap 572: A vast flock of cockatoos heralds a week when productivity returns

Man feeding cockatoos

My productivity started to return during the week of Monday 10 to Sunday 16 May 2021. Yes, there’s a ZDNet story and parts or another one, but more importantly I started to get a clearer view of the next few months. This pleases me.

Weekly Wrap 571: Little productivity, but a fun podcast, and a half-decade dawn

Red Dawn 12 May 2016

My week of Monday 3 to Sunday 9 May 2021 was almost identical to the previous week: A productivity collapse, a lot of introspection, but another wonderful podcast. This must change, but I’m happy enough with what it was.
