Monday 17 to Sunday 23 October 2022 was an astounding week in British politics, so I made a podcast. I also had quite a few drinks, but we won’t talk about that. I will mention that there was a lot of rain, however. Thanks, La NiÃ±a.

Weekly Wrap 646: Not such a productive time but here’s a slightly stale waratah

I did a lot of sleeping during my week of Monday 10 to Sunday 16 October 2022 but I’m not sure why. However there was a brief break in this year’s near-continual presence of La NiÃ±a and that made for a pleasant change.

Spring is definitely here, along with hay fever. My week of Monday 19 to Sunday 25 September 2022 saw me create a podcast which immediately became out of date, make friends with a kookaburra, and sneeze a lot.

Weekly Wrap 631: Lots of rain, lots of sleep, but not much else

My week of Monday 27 June to Sunday 3 July 2022 was full of fatigue and I don’t know why. I’m hoping it was just a routine week of blergh. In any event, the weekend saw the return of MORE RAIN, with 118.6mm recorded in the 24 hours to 9am today, and already another 46.8mm by 6pm, or just before.

Weekly Wrap 627: Cold, wet, windy, and little else

My week of Monday 30 May to Sunday 5 June 2022 was cold, wet, and windy. I also spent a lot of time sleeping. We know the cause of the bad weather. Thank you, La NiÃ±a. We don’t know the cause of my sleepiness, though I don’t think it’s anything to worry about.

Weekly Wrap 617: A sausage roll almost as long as the day itself, and then it began to rain

During the week of Monday 21 to Sunday 27 March 2022 I was finally able to start addressing the mould problem. Thanks to La NiÃ±a’s reign of terror, mould has started appearing on almost every surface, and especially parts of the ceiling where moisture has seeped through from the adjacent storeroom whose roof has proved inadequate. The fierce brown bubbling of the bleach is most satisfying.
