ActionAid’s Abdul Kajumulo has a new post from Tanzania, too: “Let’s tame malaria” http://tr.im/rOWc

@bradatslice I’d LIKE to write more about what I experienced ‘cos there’s lots but, yes, I do have to be careful not to bore. Balance!

@ForsakenDAemon You’re 100% right about interaction. As it happened, 4 days of driving meant one-way tweets by SMS only.

I want to start writing about the “content”, but the world wants to discuss the process more, so I guess I’ll do that first.

@jodiem @ForsakenDAemon The comment reflects how I felt too. I can see how it happened, and how it can be avoided next time.

I’ve just read the most sensible comment about Project TOTO that’s been written by anyone to date. http://tr.im/rOul Please discuss.

Emerges. And thankfully it seems to be Saturday.

@tscribe However, BBEdit has UTF-8 FTW! It also has regexp tools so I can easily convert CSV of tweets to XHTML goodness.

via Twitter Web Client in reply to tscribe

@tscribe Excel doesn’t support UTF-8? WTF? What century are we in here? (Also, my Mac doesn’t have Notepad, oddly enough.)

via Twitter Web Client in reply to tscribe

@tscribe No, thank YOU for making useful tools. One bug: Unicode characters like “é” are geb0rken in CSV export. Not that I’m complaining.

@StephenEdgar Yes, @davewiner’s OPML Editor is probably overkill. ;) I am a man in favour of simplicity.

@ttam Ta for http://tweetake.com, but t’was @joshsharp’s http://twitterscribe.com I was thinking of. I now have tweets as a CSV file.

via Twitter Web Client in reply to ttam

Now, who was it that had a thingy to archive all your tweets and, as one option, allow you to download them as a CSV file?

“11 Photos Where Black People Were Awkwardly Photoshopped In or Out” http://bit.ly/JWdB0 Ah, such trickery! Hat-tip @JonoH.

I’m just catching up with this old news, but I didn’t realise semi-colons were gay. http://tr.im/rIKc

@ApostrophePong just introduced me to “Beautiful People”. Fun. http://tr.im/rIiW It’s on ABC iView, but can I see older eps? No. Silly.

RT @jg_rat: Your weekend time sink: great pics … including … Obama portrait made of gumballs http://is.gd/1tjIe [Oh you bastard!]

via Twitter Web Client

@jg_rat And what a week it was! Still, I may well do some writing in the morning. And sort my photos. And drink tea.

A solid day of paperwork, administrivia and WordPress support is complete.

Dear Westpac, thanks for “banking guide for overseas travellers”, which arrived after I left. Did you send two copies to make up for that?

via Twitter Web Client

@stephenconroy True, I reckon the rough-looking bikers reinforces the idea that, well, bikers are rough.
