Erm no @JonoH that’s not Senator Conroy’s mobile number, though I grant you that’s a tempting prank.
Well, ACMA will launch it at 11am at Phoenix Youth Centre, Footscray, with Fear of A Brown Planet’s Hip Hop Academy, for some reason.

Thanks @gabewong but @phildobbie already did a great “Twisted Wire” podcast on AARNet / Aussie internet history http://bit.ly/bNTQch
There seems to be another burst of phishing emails trying to grab Twitter logins. They look reasonably convincing too.

@SnarkyPlatypus Je suis comme un couteau-équipée et mentalement équilibré comme le protagoniste d’une chanson de Nick Cave.
Tweaked and fact-checked article filed! I am such a productive critter in the early morning!
@SnarkyPlatypus Bonjour. Je me demande combien de personnes je poignarder à mort aujourd’hui. Et vous?
Using Google to fact-check an article about, erm, how evil Google is.
@derekbarry I agree with @johnemcintyre that the right word for people setting up an Academy of English is “crank”. “Let’s stop evolution !’
A “nice” example of why attempting to regular English is futile and, indeed, stupid. http://bit.ly/93Pgc7
@jasonlangenauer Unpleasantness with a pomegranate? In ’03? Is this the incident you mean? http://bit.ly/ba3mSO

No @Nickhodge not as in “due to VD I have a postulated penis”. That’s just wrong. Even in an article about Senator Conroy.
Irritated at an inappropriate usage of the word “postulated”.
I suspect @mpesce you’d be interested in this blog post / comments about The Age (mis)quoting you on 3D TV http://bit.ly/9MYPNa

Oh there’s lots of ways of creating hostile PDFs, @jonoabroad, and there’s yet another unpatched vulnerability in Adobe Reader.
Fortunately @juhasaarinen all the infected PDFs so far have been called “resume.pdf”, but they’ve gotten all the way through to my desktop.
I’m noting more than the usual number of infected PDFs coming through the email systems.
Sudden Tuesday afternoon story request filed!
