Zee podcast, she is mixed and renderified! My work here is done, Igor.

The great thing about “Patch Monday” this week is that you’ll be able to hear people playing pool in the background. Classy.

via TweetDeck

I’ve decided to edit the “Patch Monday” podcast rather than write tonight. I ask @peterjblack, “…or does that only apply if I’m naked?”

via TweetDeck

TVCs that go on about mucus are perfect before dinner, are they not?

Back at Bunjaree Cottages. 46.8V on the battery? Generator on!

@RealDavidHeath Goodness, banks doing something for their benefit, not the customers. That’s really quite unusual.

Checkout operator at Kmart Katoomba reckons banks haven’t thought through the social and ethical implications of wave-your-card tech. See?

@dmflower Oh no! I need to get shopping done and back to Wentworth Falls before the temperature drops below 5C.

It’s taking so long to back up these audio files to USB stick that I’ve had to order another beer. Fucking tragedy, that is.

@leslienassar I know of a couple pubs that put in Wi-Fi knowing they’d get much better mid-afternoon trade. It IS a winner. Pubs take note.

via TweetDeck in reply to leslienassar

I think I’ll record the rest of the podcast while I’m here at the pub. For consistency. And for the beer.

via TweetDeck

And… that’s a lovely and in some places amusing conversation with @peterjblack recorded. You get to hear it on Monday. Thanks, Pete.

@RealNickHodge It’s kittens all the way down. Until you hit the dogma. /cc @DrMiaow

About to record for “Patch Monday” podcast a chat with @peterjblack about law stuff. R18+ games, privacy, cybercrime, Facebook, filtering.

via TweetDeck

RT @DrMiaow: God is far too busy giving children cancer and fixing the air-travel problems of middle Americans to bother with kittens.

@expectproblems Are you saying that sexual pleasure is not fun? You’re doing it wrong, I reckon.

via TweetDeck in reply to expectproblems

@mpesce But the Universe DOESN’T make sense. Ask Gödel.

via TweetDeck in reply to mpesce

@sylmobile There was potato and pumpkin and carrot and cabbage and penguins and zucchini and sawdust and cabbage and monkeys and ice cream.

via TweetDeck in reply to sylmobile

Sometimes God kills a kitten just for fun, @mpesce. I know I do.

Gearin Hotel, Katoomba. Roast pork special. Massive. Very well cooked. $12.50.

@Cocodmonkey That’s just daft. It’s not a story that quite fits what I’m doing this month but I’ll ping people. Ta.

Do Gooder looks interesting. “Powerful, affordable campaigning tools” for anyone with a good cause http://good.do/

@Cocodmonkey Well done OzTips.com. At first glance I’m guessing they didn’t plan their migration well. Down for 2 days an still wrong? Hah!

So I suggest a help file change to @saasu at 0634 on a Saturday, and at 0814 it’s done. Bleeding heck that’s efficient.

via TweetDeck

Hmmm. I honestly thought I’d get comments on my Crikey piece about internet filtering. http://arseh.at/94k

@andrew_hedge Most businesses hiring SEO wouldn’t know how to tell if they’re doing good things or bad. Spam works, or it wouldn’t be done.

via TweetDeck in reply to egadheg

Sat plan, unordered: Record “Patch Monday” podcast; head to a nearby town for food and shopping etc; write an op-ed; much reading.

via TweetDeck

@eClubAU Thanks heaps. I’m happy with that LulzSec vs Murdoch op-ed, glad you liked it. For those who missed it, http://arseh.at/94o

via TweetDeck in reply to eClubAU

Thank you @saasu for once more providing clearly-written procedures in your help files. Bookkeeping becomes less shit.

via TweetDeck

@thornae This will be interesting, yes. I’m sure the law firm itself is unwitting.

via TweetDeck in reply to thornae

Excellent. Voicemail left for the very professional-sounding media contact at said law firm. I await her call.

via TweetDeck

Spam comments on my website plugging a major Michigan law firm? Well, I think I might give them a call.

via TweetDeck

Oh. Awake. Very well, then, let’s start Saturday.
