Weekly Wrap 469: The aftermath, with a podcast

Monday 20 to Sunday 26 May 2019 was a strange week. The weather too warm for this time of year, the politics too strange, and the fatigue continuing.

Obviously the Australian federal election result was a bit weird, and I reflected on that in this week’s podcast. There was also the announcement of the newly re-elected Morrison government’s new ministry and cabinet on Sunday, which will take a while to digest.

I also launched The 9pm Brisbane Podcasts 2019, a Pozible crowdfunding campaign that you should definitely consider. Please.

Announcing “The 9pm Brisbane Podcasts 2019”

The 9pm Brisbane Podcasts 2019: Click for the Pozible campaign

 It’s time to record more episodes of my inappropriately-named podcast The 9pm Edict in Brisbane. Why? A Queensland visit has just been added to my work schedule, so I’ve put myself at your disposal in Brisbane on 1 to 4 June.

I’ll organise my plan of action and any guests over the next few days, and I’ll post the details here.

Weekly Wrap 468: A relaxed pace ending with a sausage

Monday 13 to Sunday 19 May 2019 was a busy enough week, but there’s little to show for it publicly. That was kinda the plan, at least how I interpreted it as things unfolded. I am pleased with that. Stress has been decreased.

I am also pleased that by the time the ABC’s Antony Green called the election on Saturday night, the total in the tip jar was $1908.93. Deducting the initial $400 threshold, half of the rest is a delightful $754.47 for the Black Dog Institute. Thank you so much. I think I might do another such fundraiser in the future.
