@cait Since the first 8 eps are very much alpha tests, “Stilgherrian Live Alpha” seems right.

@cait I’ll decide the program title on Monday, but probably just “Stilgherrian Live”. With a name like mine, who needs another?

Nominations for the 2008 Webby Awards: http://is.gd/bxz Lotsa stuff to explore.

@mpesce Our minds are indeed a loosely collaborating tribe of individual subsystems. Some more loose than others… ;)

@bengrubb Oh hello there, Ben, I see I’ve blipped into your world. Plenty of common themes, it seems… [waves]

Ah! Not sufficiently sophisticated, “but still pretty and kinda fun.” Reminds me of this time… but perhaps I won’t tell that story.

Of course TweetWheel assumes “follow” = “friends”, and doesn’t differentiate between quality of linkage. But still pretty and kinda fun.

@mpesce retweet: Map out which Twitter friends know each other. http://tweetwheel.com Of course THEY already know this.

Sun plan: Breakfast at Marrickville Organic Markets; @ApostrophePong & I declutter the office (finally!); quiet night at home.

@abcnews retweet: Bryan Adams sees independence as the future of music. http://is.gd/bLY World sees Bryan Adams as music’s distant past.

Met a guy last night with surname “Gay”. Searching Facebook for “[firstname] Gay” delivers results other than intended, but interesting.

@tangararama Some people do dangerous physical stunts to push the envelope. I think dangerous thoughts and push unknown buttons.

“Zrelka”? A Facebook dialog just went weird on my screen and the button changed to “Zrelka”. I think I might press it and see what happens.

@garthk Welcome back to Oz. We’ve taken good care of it while you were away. Morris reckons that smell will go away, not to worry.

NSW Labor rejects privatising electricity 702 to 107. Premier Iemma still acting tough, like a wet noodle. http://is.gd/bL6

Emerging. What time did we get home? Does it matter? Which caused more pain, gym or gin? Which continues to cause pain? What is pain?

via Twitter Web Client

Departing for gym and lunch… some hours may pass without my attention. You will all exist again once I start paying attention.

@Murfomurf “Mega-blogger?” I could certainly lose some weight, but hey…. Anyway my Twitter profile links to my site, judge for yourself!

via Twitter Web Client in reply to Murfomurf

@mpesce Pink noise works better for you, or as NSW Premier? Hmmm… both, probably.

via Twitter Web Client in reply to mpesce

@abcnews retweet: NSW Premier Morris Iemma has been jeered at the State’s Labor Conference. http://is.gd/byv Who will be Premier tomorrow?

via Twitter Web Client in reply to abcnews

@ocean I think I shall follow you because your input seems to trigger interesting output from @mpesce. Mind you, white noise does that too.

via Twitter Web Client in reply to ocean

@deanlk I think you’re right… it looks like @nichodges does @abcnews, unofficial. It’s only following him. Still, story selection sucks.

@mpesce What is your interest in the British Society of Gastroenterology? http://is.gd/byr

@cait Your Latin must be correct. Everything on the Internet is true. But as a Discordian I am forbidden from believing anything I read.

@ApostrophePong is listening to Virgin Suicides in the hope that it’ll cheer him up on a down day. Music psycho-programming FAIL.

@andrewbarnett I think I’d better add a pronunciation guide to my website so I spend less time explaining.

via Twitter Web Client

@andrewbarnett “Stilgherrian” is pronounced with a hard G, as in goal, emphasis in the second syllable. Stil-GE-ree-n. “Stil” for short.

via Twitter Web Client

@cait I would ask what “scientaestubique” means in return, however I did Latin at school. I KNOW it translates to “pretentious wanker”. ;)

via Twitter Web Client in reply to cait

@cait I will definitely NOT be using any program name which is a pun on Stil/Still. I am WAY OVER IT. :)

via Twitter Web Client in reply to cait

@cait Oh, I want a name that will work beyond the alpha, then with “alpha” tagged onto it. I think.

via Twitter Web Client in reply to cait

@allisonr @Nickhodge After 25+ years I’ve kinda worn out every pun on Stil = Still. A jokey program name would wear out VERY fast.

via Twitter Web Client in reply to allisonr

@Nickhodge For the right price it could be “Microsoft Stilgherrian Live”… ;) A little more and I’ll tattoo the Microsoft log on my butt.
