@shermozle Twitter client access is via HTTP too, so I’d been assuming it would also show up in Nielsen web stats? Can someone tell me?

@GreenJ Actually. Twitter’s 40% rate of continuing is HIGH for “log in and try it” services. Also,we did this yesterday. http://tr.im/k3C9

@tyeshasnow Well, thank YOU. I do like to “provoke people to think”. Needs to be more of it. :)

@tyeshasnow Hey, glad you like my little tag line! :) It’s a pretty mixed bag on my website.

Gosh. More than a year after first publishing it, my “Super Hornets are Go” is getting new comments! http://tr.im/k3uL

@SnarkyPlatypus Vous vous sentez comme une chanson de Fleetwood Mac? Pardon? Dull, inutiles et très sur-évalué?

via Twitter Web Client in reply to SnarkyPlatypus

@wolfcat My photo’s “very thought provoking”? Huh? I thought it was nice random colours. http://tr.im/k3nL Like this one. http://tr.im/k3o5

@SnarkyPlatypus Bonjour. Le jour du départ se rapproche, et je suis plus … agité. Et vous?

@JonoH Ah no, “The Punch” is the new politics web / TV / print project from News Ltd. http://tr.im/k0BR

via Twitter Web Client in reply to JonoH

Oh, and yeah I am no longer doing stressful documentation for the Tax Office. Until tomorrow, anyway. Now I just have cats to annoy me.

via Twitter Web Client

Oh dear. “The Punch” is such a SEKRIT SQUIRREL project that it has… a sekrit squirrel. http://tr.im/k0zv

My attention is now severely limited while I do awfully annoying sensate work on my bookkeeping. Or curl in a ball and cry. One of the two.

RT @SBSNews: More than 60 per cent of Twitter users fail to return the following month, a study says. http://cli.gs/9RnRyA

RT @baethan: Reminds me of a t-shirt I saw once: “born looser”. [Indeed. That brings a VERY different image to mind!]

@mpesce Oh are you STILL fucking whinging about the weather? Go put on a nice woolly jumper and tell someone who cares. FFS!

via Twitter Web Client in reply to mpesce

@jeamland Precisely why YMMV. The N80 was what I needed at the time. You hated it. That’s why I avoid recommending specific tools.

Dear Twitterverse, is anyone in my herd of sheep-like but oh-so-wonderful followers working at Suede in Sydney by any chance? Please ping.

via Twitter Web Client

@mtats True, when asking most people to do something the Magic Word is “please”. With a telco it’s “Ombudsman”.

via Twitter Web Client in reply to mtats

RT @cowspanker: Australia freaking about swine flu? Nope. 37th most-read story of week. [Well, ADD MORE BREASTS! Der!] [See, shortened too!]

@thegrenville I only looked at Nokia ‘cos after using the N80 I didn’t want to learn a new operating system. iPhone is useless for me.

via Twitter Web Client in reply to thegrenville

@thegrenville Agree re “paralysed by choice”. @SnarkyPlatypus just got an E71, so if Nokia is the go that may be your choice.

via Twitter Web Client in reply to thegrenville

@mtats I’ll say it again: Moving Vodafone to Virgin Mobile was a huge mistake. I’m now stuck on a contract.

via Twitter Web Client in reply to mtats

@thegrenville If I chose again, I might pick something with a QWERTY keyboard.

via Twitter Web Client in reply to thegrenville

@thegrenville N96 fine for my needs: calls, SMS, photos, video, Bluetooth modem for laptop. Non-tactile keypad annoys. Your needs my differ.

OK, time to start doing something productive. I’ll be approving Cnut nomination-comments at http://tr.im/k3QK but otherwise dark for a bit.

@babycakesjase A live studio audience could be fun, yes, but it adds a LOT to the production workload. And there’s no income from this yet.

via Twitter Web Client in reply to babycakesjase

@Nickhodge Yes, we will indeed do Something Very Special for Eurovision. Plotting continues.

via Twitter Web Client in reply to NickHodgeMSFT

@babycakesjase However I’ve responded by implying you’re the Cnut for trying to hold back the tide of Swine Flu panic. ;)

via Twitter Web Client in reply to babycakesjase

@babycakesjase Nothing wrong with being cheap-arse and going for a prize, no. Now, how to make it so you have to watch the program too…?

via Twitter Web Client in reply to babycakesjase

@Nickhodge I suppose I should start doing interviews again. Anyone got any suggestions?
