@drearyclocks And there’s the depressing irony of my position Sigh.

Sorry to hear you’re sharing the insomnia, @SomeGen @thewinchesterau and others… poor little possums all.

via TweetDeck

“Lie back and think of England”, @BiteTheDust ? You’re right, that IS something else. ;)

via TweetDeck

So, this sleep thing… How does it work again?

via TweetDeck

Time to attempt sleep, various mammals permitting. [exit]

It’s not a date palm here, I don’t think @R_Chirgwin, but they’re throwing seeds of some sort onto the roof and screeching.

via TweetDeck

The fruit bats are being particularly rowdy tonight. They’re up to something.

via TweetDeck

Things are being read, but nothing is being written. I am relaxed and comfortable with this.

“Cyber-Spin: How the Internet Gets Framed as Dangerous” http://bit.ly/dhSJMM HT @NewtonMark

via TweetDeck

@thetowncrier I just watched the trailer for “Hot Tub Time Machine” and I feel more stupid than when I started.

via TweetDeck in reply to thetowncrier

@thetowncrier And what, pray tell, is WRONG with blowing all your wealth on booze and hookers?

Dear USAF, please do try to keep track of your nuclear weapons. http://bit.ly/aFshjp

Alas definitely no Edict tonight now, @EnsignR. It’s a 3-hour process and I haven’t the mental energy.

Dame Elizabeth Taylor to re-marry(pics). http://bit.ly/98HdpN HT @custaro, of all people.

via TweetDeck

@firstdogonmoon Have you considered replacing “arsehat” with “douche-knuckle”? http://bit.ly/chatdV

via TweetDeck

Hah @bigjonhughes! Even with the vote at 2-all, I’ll be doing a podcast much of tomorrow so a written piece seems better for now.

via TweetDeck

Hmmm… 2 votes for “50 to 50”, 1 vote for “The 9pm Edict”, 2 votes for “booze”. No drinkies on school night, though.

via TweetDeck

OK, I can do one thing tonight, an episode of “The 9pm Edict” or a “50 to 50” blog post or neither. Which do you reckon?

via TweetDeck

Hmmm… Ta for all the feedback on my @SilkCharm / @mumbrella comment. I shan’t reply to any of it just now. Maybe tomorrow.

via TweetDeck

RT @SnarkyPlatypus: There’s so many well maintained hedges here. [This has always been an enjoyable euphemism.]

via TweetDeck

And that was a remarkably difficult and time-consuming comment to write.

via TweetDeck

For better or worse, I have commented on @SilkCharm’s allegations of bullying by @mumbrella http://bit.ly/cDkhmy

True @whatiris there never were TravelTens for CityRail. An opportunity missed not introducing them now, I reckon. I shall lobby!

via TweetDeck

I take that back. There’s a “MyBus TravelTen” but the TravelTen wasn’t on the list of tickets which will be retained under MyZone.

via TweetDeck

Yes @thewetmale weekly tickets are OK for regular commuters, but useless for ad hoc travel. Multiple trips a month but not 5+ every week.

via TweetDeck

Sydney’s new MyZone ticketing, am I right in seeing no multi-trip tickets, just time-based weeklies etc? http://bit.ly/az1UTK

@SnarkyPlatypus Bonjour. Je suis toujours en riant à l’utilisation sélective de la «preuve» par un manipulateur passif-agressif. Et vous?

via TweetDeck in reply to SnarkyPlatypus

@molluscan That’s nothing to do with what I did, that’s a feature of Nambu to recognise certain image hosting sites.

via TweetDeck in reply to molluscan

@kcarruthers I have no idea who the man in the photograph is.

via TweetDeck in reply to kcarruthers

Sorry @molluscan not sure what you mean how I added the image. I’m just linking. Does Nambu pull Twitpic images inline?

Mon plan: Produce “Patch Monday” podcast; map out the week’s client work; shake my head in disbelief; quiet evening, probably.

@SnarkyPlatypus Si nous déployons le gaz, pourquoi s’arrêter à ces quelques mammifères? J’ai une liste modeste …
