Collapsing. Gone.

via TweetDeck

I’m home. I’ll keep an eye on comments on the Artemis blog post for maybe another hour, until I collapse fully. http://arseh.at/3b4

via TweetDeck

I really did miss the opportunity for a tasteless joke there, didn’t I @BernardKeane?

via TweetDeck

Thanks @iBleeter @dermottbanana @BobGrrl yeah it’ll be Jupiter. Uranus wouldn’t be visible in Sydney. Too much random light interfering.

via TweetDeck

Even thru Sydney murk Mars still usually looks red, so I’m guessing Jupiter.

via TweetDeck

There’s something in the sky maybe 30 degrees west of the Moon tonight. Surely not Venus so late? Mars, maybe? Jupiter?

via TweetDeck

Three times. Six things.

via TweetDeck

Actually missing his blues band too. Mr Wong and the Travelling Czechs. That takes me back…

via TweetDeck

RT @SnarkyPlatypus: Wondering what a duck burger would taste like. [Like a duck? Also missing Mr Wong’s Authentic Malaysian Duck Pizza.]

via TweetDeck

I chose… poorly. I don’t think the “chicken burger” will kill me. But the price should’ve been maybe $10, not $14. And I knew. I am fail.

via TweetDeck

“You can’t underestimate the water. It’s got no brain, it don’t say nothing, it just don’t care where it’s going.” http://arseh.at/3b7

via TweetDeck

Wow. There’s so many comments and replies on my website, with notifications, that my security system just warned I’m a potential spammer.

via TweetDeck

I will reveal which pub I’m at tomorrow. Once the toxicology reports are in.

via TweetDeck

RT @lyndons: Don’t order the Coogee Bay Special gelato dessert for afters, tho. [That goes without saying. Also… well… Coogee.]

via TweetDeck

So there’s eight @replies already, essentially telling me my chicken burger decision was a mistake. Sigh. Well, it’s been nice knowing you.

via TweetDeck

I don’t trust this pub’s food, but I’ve ordered the chicken burger. You can’t fuck up a chicken burger, right?

via TweetDeck

@dekrazee1 So, you’re not in SFO, you liar? And you haven’t updated your profile since May or June? Aha! Sprung! Yes, it’s been too long…

via TweetDeck in reply to dekrazee1

Oh don’t get me wrong, @lomantik, I think Mamak is just fine. But a queue? THE pinnacle of Malaysian food? Really?

via TweetDeck

RT @dekrazee1: Because they don’t know where the real Malaysian food is. :P [Hah! Also, WTF did you go to SFO? I am out of touch!]

via TweetDeck

I have been informed there’s a Mamak at Chatswood too. It also has a queue. Remarkable.

via TweetDeck

I’ve been to Mamak. It’s perfectly adequate Malaysian hawker food. But I simply don’t understand why people would queue for it.

via TweetDeck

If you missed my post earlier, “Artemis, it’s decision time…” I need your advice, good people. http://arseh.at/3b4

via TweetDeck

I agree, @peterjblack, @QPSmedia has been truly awesome. Now if only I could view their photos without giving my privacy away to Facebook.

via TweetDeck

@GeordieGuy Tracking pizza would be a useful superpower. If I ate pizza any more.

via TweetDeck in reply to GordyPls

It’s my low-grade superpower, @peterjblack! If I enter a meat raffle at a new pub, I always win it. Much to the irritation of the locals.

via TweetDeck

How dare they have a meat tray raffle without telling me!

14 comments so far on the post about Artemis’ future. Thank you all. It’ll be a long night… http://arseh.at/3b4

via TweetDeck

Thank you @janek85 @justjjoke and everyone else. I will be responding mostly in the comments at the website through the evening.

via TweetDeck

New blog post: “Artemis, it’s decision time…” I need your advice, good people. http://arseh.at/3b4

via TweetDeck

@caldron_baidu There will be more news about Artemis within the hour. Stand by.

via TweetDeck in reply to caldron_baidu

Transcript of that media conference at http://arseh.at/3b2 and I will now concentrate on something else for a while.

via TweetDeck

I know my opinion is just my opinion, but my opinion is that budget deficits can wait until we’ve finished fishing corpses out of rivers.

via TweetDeck

@MeddlesomPriest Sorry, I watched the media conference and re-read the transcript. I was, and remain, disgusted. Plenty to talk about.

via TweetDeck in reply to MeddlesomPriest

Alister Drysdale’s piece on the press gallery’s obnoxious questioning of the PM saves me some writing. http://arseh.at/3b1

Mobile: Pho, I think, at Ocean on Stanmore Rd; remainder TBA.

via TweetDeck

@bunzinator While beer certainly has many fine properties, are you sure that curing fatigue is amongst them?

via TweetDeck in reply to bunzinator

Wed (2nd half) plan: Taking the day off, addressing the distinct fatigue and unfocussed brain issues; lunch & errands soon; all TBA.

Report on BP Deepwater Horizon spill to be released, summary at http://arseh.at/3av Halliburton’s response at http://arseh.at/3aw

via TweetDeck

@NewtonMark I really did misread it like that. Default font size on Firefox made it… ambiguous. I’m a fan of nice big text.

via TweetDeck in reply to NewtonMark

@NewtonMark What is a “single-horned service”? Internode rents out unicorns? Or do you have to be over 18? Oh hang on, I’ve misread…

via TweetDeck in reply to NewtonMark

Dobbing in someone else to be on ABC Radio National Breakfast tomorrow morning. Sometimes they should get to hear a proper expert.

via TweetDeck

@citizen_cam Fair enough. Then it is an interesting question. But I’ve got some other stuff to attempt to focus on just now.

via TweetDeck in reply to citizen_cam

@citizen_cam Unless of course your sentence is the tautology “A lot [number?] of people use the word X and have no idea what it means.”

via TweetDeck in reply to citizen_cam

@citizen_cam I misunderstood your question, sorry. I disagree. I think in this context there’s a clearly-understood meaning.

via TweetDeck in reply to citizen_cam

@citizen_cam That you even have to ask what a leader looks like really indicates the extent of our lack of leadership, I think.

via TweetDeck in reply to citizen_cam

There are times when leaders must be leaders. Whatever it’s like behind the scenes, Anna Bligh at least looks like a leader today.

via TweetDeck

@kim_weatherall Oh that wasn’t aimed to you! :) I’m still working back along my @replies stream. And still waking up.

via TweetDeck in reply to kim_weatherall

But point-scoring comparisons “Is it worse then X?” really don’t matter. People are in serious trouble. Isn’t that enough to get on with?

via TweetDeck

I thought a generation was 25y too, @OhCrap, Macquarie Dictionary says “generally 30”. @jdub Either way, I’m not sure about the comparisons.

via TweetDeck

Perhaps I shouldn’t be picky today, @abcnews, but “once-in-a-generation” and “more than 100 years” are not really the same. I’m confused.

via TweetDeck

If you missed last night’s blog post: “Artemis’ kidneys are not responding”. And yet “even more feisty”. http://arseh.at/3ai

via TweetDeck

@jasonlangenauer Oh sure, why not? Vodafone’s response to this security problem has been classic corporate bland avoidance. Send it through!

via TweetDeck

No @juhasaarinen I’m fairly sure the story about the papyrus basket in a river is about someone else. Possibly Warwick Capper.

via TweetDeck

This really isn’t the best time of day for me to be waking up. Although I suppose I’m not being washed away by floodwater, which helps.

via TweetDeck

Oh. Wednesday. Right.
