@purserj Audio quality is just fine. Bit rate is different from the camera so I have a sync problem to resolve but that’s just a procedure.

via TweetDeck in reply to purserj

@purserj I haven’t got the audio in yet, still waiting for the video to render. Stand by.

via TweetDeck in reply to purserj

Rendering video. Need MOAR COREZ!

via TweetDeck

I’ll ask them first in what sense it’s “personal”. Enquiring minds, etc.

via TweetDeck

I should name the companies involved, shouldn’t I.

via TweetDeck

“I am pleased to personally deliver to you this very important [company] announcement,” says bulk email from a PR company. Such bullshit.

via TweetDeck

You’d have sniffed if it were you, right?

via TweetDeck

Friends don’t give friends Klout.

via TweetDeck

@maldamkar I can’t possibly answer a question like that.

via TweetDeck in reply to maldamkar

I remember being so close to Boy George I could sniff him. This was in Adelaide.

Presentation done. Conference done. Post-conference socialising done. Energy levels done. Mobile, returning to Camperdown for sloth.

via TweetDeck

Keep talking, @oliverw, keep talking. The longer you talk, the more stuff I can skip over in my presentation.

via TweetDeck

@GeordieGuy Photos of me could have ended up being worse for you. A lot worse.

via TweetDeck in reply to GordyPls

RT @GeordieGuy: http://gguy.me/23 3rd page, about half way. [Ah, not quite as worrying as I’d feared, thank you.]

via TweetDeck

RT @GeordieGuy: GIS for “Kelly’s on King” returns @stilgherrian sticking his tongue out. Seems legit. [WTF?LOLBBQ! Link plz!]

via TweetDeck

RT @nanopunk: By asphyxiation please. [Please keep your erotic fantasies to yourself, Young Lady.]

via TweetDeck

RT @andrewdotnich: s/./!/ ? [OK, that is even more smart-arsey than I was imagining people would be.]

via TweetDeck

@LindaMottram Glad to hear there’s still SOME standards at the ABC. What was the reaction?

via TweetDeck in reply to LindaMottram

RT @R_Chirgwin: “Punctuation is the practice of using conventional marks or characters in writing, in order to separate elements.” [Bah!]

via TweetDeck

Use punctuation properly or I will kill you.

via TweetDeck

@R_Chirgwin I think commenters at my own site react to the “bad” language, think “He’s stupid”, and ponder no further. Arsehats.

via TweetDeck in reply to R_Chirgwin

RT @purserj: We got you to do the closing keynote, our judgement might be suspect. [There IS that, yes.]

via TweetDeck

They’re letting @anthonybaxter on stage now. They are so screwed.

@GeoffVass Poor Google. They’d better not listen to “The 9pm Edict” podcast. arseh.at/57c

via TweetDeck in reply to GeoffVass

Thank you, @R_Chirgwin, for steering the ElReg drive-by dullards in my direction. Another wave of comments has begun.

via TweetDeck

Also, Mr Hair is still chewing.

via TweetDeck

Why is he chewing? Always chewing. He is nothing but hair products, anorexia and chewing.

via TweetDeck

Tactical error, too late to fix.

via TweetDeck

There is a sausage sizzle and a variety of market stalls at RPA Hospital right now.

Mobile: King St for a haircut; Newtown station; Wynyard station; Menzies Hotel for and so on.

via TweetDeck

Hah! @virtualpete @Idealaw Does it still count being in ElReg if @R_Chirgwin wrote it? I live in his properties! arseh.at/9xl

via TweetDeck

I am pleased. Finalising the presentation was quicker than I thought, leaving me time for a haircut and lunch and such. Top hole!

via TweetDeck

OK, Possums, I’m going off-grid for the next few hours to finish preparing for this afternoon’s presentation. Do try to behave.

via TweetDeck

@futureidentity Hah! Finishing with more questions than answers is just the way I like it! I’ll be in touch soon.

via TweetDeck in reply to futureidentity

@thepatus The arseh.at appears to be operational now. Looked like a db connect problem, which presumably went away by magic.

via TweetDeck in reply to thepatus

@futureidentity We should also perhaps chat one day for the “Patch Monday” podcast for @zdnetaustralia. http://arseh.at/ch

via TweetDeck in reply to futureidentity

@futureidentity I like your thinking, Sir! Portuguese Man O’ War will be sought later.

via TweetDeck in reply to futureidentity

Thu plan: Finishing writing then, at 1630, present closing keynote for Local Government Webnetwork bit.ly/jPUK35 then TGIT.

@yewenyi That name would fail for 2 languages and more than 2 words. Google’s system is idiotic. arseh.at/9vr

via TweetDeck in reply to yewenyi

@yewenyi If Google follows its own policy, then as long as the two pieces of the name are in one language… but yes, we shall see.

via TweetDeck in reply to yewenyi

At least @DeusCafe has its address nice and big on the home page. Better than many, many restaurant, cafe and hotel websites there.

via TweetDeck

Dear @DeusCafe, all this shit on your home page, BUT NOT YOUR OPENING HOURS! And which menu item is that under? UX fail. arseh.at/9x1

via TweetDeck

@kofeyh Oh, no, not a feud. Google does many good things. They also do bad things. And this is a very bad thing. They just need spanking.

via TweetDeck in reply to kofeyh

Just posted: Lengthy response to the 127 comments on my Google/names blog post. arseh.at/9x0

@MayaPosch Sadly the opposite there, technically I am of “no fixed abode” at the moment. A regular pattern of itinerance, though.

via TweetDeck in reply to MayaPosch

@MayaPosch I certainly don’t mind the sunrise, especially when they’re so beautiful as in the Blue Mountains where I spend so much time now.

via TweetDeck in reply to MayaPosch

Oh Dear Mistress Insomnia, the idea was that I’ll sleep later today, not awake even earlier. I do not wish to work in breakfast radio.
