“The internet: when the frontier closes” by @BernardKeane, I recommend you read it. All of it. arseh.at/kpi

@nickobec Yep, a name like FNU LNU makes you suitable only as a minor character in The Wire.

Agreed about the FNU acronym being silly, @peter_tonoli, and yes, quite Seuss-like.

@ApostrophePong I have found a SEKRIT Thai diner that I will keep SEKRIT so people don’t know where I am.

I find it quite odd that Thai boat noodles have become a comfort food for me.

New blog post: “Visiting Kuala Lumpur for Kaspersky Lab”. Any suggestions for my visit? arseh.at/kpe

via TweetDeck

@peter_tonoli Yeah I saw some similar posts about people accidentally triggering the FNU magic cookie. Seems it can really screw you up!

@retrogrrl I think it’s good advice never to g to Canberra. I am not very good at following good advice.

Sadly @leslienassar so far none of these events have covered “how to wage a badass cyber-war”. It’s as if only other people would do it.

via TweetDeck

@retrogrrl I certainly hope we don’t have silly costumes. But it’s Canberra. You can never tell.

Looks like I’ll be in Canberra 14-15 Sept for the 2nd National Cyber Warfare Conference. arseh.at/kpa

So that HTTP Basic Authentication problem? It wasn’t any such thing. It was PEBKAC. Sigh.

via TweetDeck

@jeamland Yes, the spirits are bloody angry. HTTP Basic Authentication asks one user to re-enter password every time and I forgot the cause.

via TweetDeck

How did the decisions I made over the last 15 minutes end up with me dealing with a problem that includes “AuthMySQLEnable on”?

via TweetDeck

I think I should probably do a spot of work after all today. I just realised it’s only 10 days until I head to Kuala Lumpur.

The interview with @Skud is recorded. “Patch Monday” will be assembled tomorrow, however. I shall now blur back into Saturday blurriness.

via TweetDeck

Sat plan: 0900 interview @Skud for “Patch Monday”; collapse, leaving the edit until tomorrow; rest; remainder TBA.

via TweetDeck

Saturday, having slept in. Oops. This’ll be interesting.
