Weekly Wrap 570: Introspection and a productivity collapse

My strange introspective mood continued through the week of Monday 26 April to Sunday 2 May 2021, leading to a complete collapse of productivity. That said, a fabulous podcast emerged.

Podcasts

My Pozible campaign The 9pm More Autumn Series 2021 wrapped up this week too, hitting 104% of Target One. That means four more special guest episodes of The 9pm Edict podcast for May and June, plus the remaining episode from the original Autumn Series plan.

Already planned are episodes with cartoonist Jon Kudelka to be posted next week, author John Birmingham on 18 May, cartoonist Cathy Wilcox on 29 May, satirist Mark Humphries on 11 June, and space archaeologist Dr Alice Gorman on a date to be decided.

The 9pm Edict is supported by the generosity of its listeners. You can subscribe for special benefits or throw a few coins into the tip jar. Please consider.

Articles, Videos, Media Appearances, Corporate Largesse

None of any of these things. You can read my previous writing at Authory, where you can also subscribe to get a compilation of new stories by email each Sunday morning, when there are some.

The Week Ahead

On Tuesday I’m recording an episode of The 9pm Edict with cartoonist Jon Kudelka, at least in theory.

The rest of the week will be about building up my revenue to where it’s meant to be. The last few months have been a mess, and it’s the lovely Pozible supporters who’ve helped me make it through the year so far.

Further Ahead

  • AusCERT 2021, Gold Coast and online, 11–13 May 2021. I’ll be attending online.
  • The 8pm Quiz S02 E04, 20 May 2021, so yes it’s back to the plan of it being on the third Thursday of the month.
  • Covid-19 vaccination, 24 May 2021.
  • Australian Cyber Conference, Melbourne, 15–17 November 2021 (TBC).
  • The 8pm Quiz S02 E05, 17 June 2021.
