Most of my week of Monday 8 to 14 November 2021 was spent in Orange in NSW’s Central Tablelands. Primarily it was about recording a podcast with Fr Karl Sinclair, and you’ll hear that next week. But getting out of the house proved to be remarkably beneficial to be psychologically.

Monday 1 to 7 November 2021 saw me do an actual social thing. With another person. OK, it was lunch at the pub with Mark Humphries before we recorded this week’s podcast, but it was still a wonderful sign that the Quarantimes are slowly coming to an end. I hope.

My week of Monday 25 to Sunday 31 October 2021 was the calm before a few very busy weeks, what with a podcast series to produce, conferences to cover, and the final weeks of Parliament for 2021. I’m especially looking forward to some travel, namely catching an XPT to Orange in the Central Tablelands.

My week of Monday 11 to Sunday 17 October 2021 reminded me just how much human interaction I was missing during Greater Sydney’s lockdown. That ended on Monday, and I enjoyed the simple pleasure of sitting in a room where there were strangers and their sounds, and wine.
